Day 4 - Your Parents

My parents. What else can I say except for the fact that I have the best ones in the World. You may try to argue against that, but alas, you are wrong. ;) My parents have been beside me through thick and thin. They've always had my back. Even while I was going through my terrible "I'm 18, I'm a grown woman, I can do what ever I want" phase. Yikes! Have I ever mentioned the fact that I don't ever want to give birth to a girl?? I ruined that experience for myself. ;)

I love my parents. They have and continue to be the best role-models a daughter could ever ask for. They have set an amazing example of what we strive to be. Happily married for 22 years. I can't wait to me happily married for 22 years. :)

Day 3 - Your First Love

To protect the identities of the said "victims", I will be using their initials. ;) This is sort of a hard topic to write about...it's weird to talk about your first "love" when I strongly believe that I didn't find the meaning of true, unconditional love until I met my husband. So, let's not confuse the two..."Love" && "True Love". :)

Let's see, my first love...sigh...well, let me back up a few years and write about my first heartbreak. My first heartbreak would have to be "N". "N" and I met when we were very, very young. And by young I mean, he was 11 and I was 13. I definitely thought we were in "love" but I really had NO clue what love was. How could you possibly know what love is at 13??! Our "relationship" (if you can call it that) lasted until my sophomore year in high school. That's when I met "D". "D", I can definitely say, was my first "love". I truly believed at that time in my life that I had found my soul mate and we would be together forever. We both came from similar backgrounds, both believed in similar things, both had similar interests...it was what I thought was "meant to be"! We were high school sweethearts until the day I met "S". Literally. The day I met "S" everything I thought "D" and I had, I somehow shoved to the very, very back of my mind. Funny how easily you move on when you're 17! After "S" joined the military our relationship didn't last much longer. 3 years later I get a phone call from a friend asking me to come hang out. Little did I know, I was going to be face to face with the true "Love of My Life". On May 12, 2007 I saw the man I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with. There were no doubts. There was no question. And on June 26, 2010 I married my first true love. And they lived happily ever after. :)

1. If you could have any talent and turn it into an occupation, what would it be? Easy. Photography! I think being a photographer is one the best talents you could ever have. I just love looking at all the photography blogs I follow...there is some really good talent out there!

2. Would you rather have a house at the beach or a cabin in the woods? Ooooh...you just had to go there didnt you. This is a tough one. I dont think I can choose. Nope definitely cant choose. I'd have to have both. :)

3. Is there any meaning or reasoning for the names you chose for your child/children? I dont have children yet! But when I do, I've got my list ready! :) My first boy will be Jaxon James. I've always loved the name Jax for a boy...and James is my husbands middle name. For a girl...well...I'm not having ANY girls so we won't even go there. ;)

4. What is your guilty pleasure? Oh boy. I've got a few of them...1. Jersey Shore; 2. Starbucks; 3. Mint Choco Chip Ice Cream; 4. Ranch Dressing...I could go on and on. :)

5. Do you live in a house that is deep cleaned or straightened? Haha...if it was up to the hubby, our house would be "deep cleaned" 24/7. But, because he chose to marry me...it is considered just "straightened". Sorry 'bout it. :)

Day 2 - Meaning behind your Blog Name

Well, this ones an easy one! And I'm sorta glad because I got my butt back in the gym tonight and now I'm pooped! I started this blog a few months ago after seeing and "following" my cousin's blog. I had always wanted to start a blog, but I had NO clue what to would write about. While bored at work one day, I somehow stumbled across a website that talked about this place called "The House on the Rock". I google mapped it and spent several minutes reading about it. It was SO interesting to me! I decided that one day, I wanted to visit this "House on a Rock" and see it for myself! Over the next few days...I started making a list of all the things I wanted to do one day. And that, my dear readers, is exactly the meaning behind the blog name, "One Day I Will..." :) And then my blog grew from being only about the things I want to do one day to "All the things I want to do someday...with a little bit of life in between". :)

Day 1 - Introduction:

For those of you who don't know me personally, which is the majority of you, my name is Megan and I'm 24 years old. I live in sunny California but cannot wait for the day when my husband finally decides to agree with me and move out of this state! As much as I love the convenience of being only an hour and a half away from the beach AND the mountains...I've just never been satisfied with spending the rest of my life living here. If I could up and move to Montana tomorrow, I would do it in a heart beat. No second thoughts. I'm ready whenever he says GO! One day I WILL have my little home in Montana. :) I'm a newlywed and a new homeowner just trying to figure out his whole housewife thing one day at a time. We have no children yet...just our 9 month old Great Dane. She is our world! She's just over 100lbs and is a little firecracker! She definitely keeps us on our toes! I'm a huge fan of doing anything outdoors...camping, boating and riding are definitely a favorite of ours. We try and get out of town at least once a month...even if its just a quick trip up to the mountains with our best friends. I guess I should move onto part 2 of this post before I lose all of you to my rambling. ;)

{1} I was home schooled 5th grade-8th grade.

{2} I've never been stung by a bee/wasp/ect.

{3} I've never broken a bone.

{4} I tried my shot at college and it only lasted one semester.

{5} I'd really love to go back one day.

{6} My Hawaiian name is Ku'uipo O'Kalani which means "Sweetheart of the Heavens".

{7} My favorite non-alcoholic beverage is Diet Pepsi. I'm addicted. It's a problem.

{8} My favorite alcoholic beverage is Jack && Pepsi. I'm addicted. But it's not a problem. :)

{9} I had knee surgery at 15 years old.

{10} I want kids someday soon...but if I have a girl...I will CRY! Boys just seem so much easier to me! Don't judge. :)

{11} I am DEATHLY afraid of frogs. No really...I FREAK out!

{12} I got engaged in the "Lilly Belle Presidential Car" on the Disneyland Train. It was amazing!

{13} I don't bite my nails...but I pick at my cuticles and the skin around my nails until they bleed! I've done it for YEARS. It's a problem && I need therapy.

{14} Apparently, I "sleep weird". I asked my husband for a random fact about me and that is what I got.

{15} I have a heart shaped birth mark on the knuckle of my middle finger. :)

{1} If you could be a fly on any wall, which would you choose?This was a tough one for me. My first thought was "The White House"...but that would be the OBVIOUS answer. So...I think I'm going to have to go with...the set of "Modern Family"! That show is hilarious and filled with so many awesome actors! I think it would be nothing but "LMAO"ing all day long! :)

{2} Do you budget your Christmas shopping or just get it done without budgeting? Before I was married, I would wait to do my shopping at the very last minute and never set a budget for myself...just buy whatever I saw. Now, sadly, things have changed. ;) I have more responsibilities and have to share my money with the love of my life. So, yes, now I ~~am forced to~~ budget my Christmas shopping. ;)

{3} What is the craziest fad diet you have ever done? I attempted to do the "Master Cleanse" Diet. It lasted one day. It was crazy. The end.

{4} Is there a TV show that you have seen every episode/season of? There are a few...but my favorite of them all would have to be the "HEY DUDE" episodes from the 1990's. When I was younger, I used to watch that show religiously. Then, a few years ago...I found all the episodes on ebay and snatched it up quick. It's way cheesy, but still to this day...by far...my favorite TV show ever. :)

{5} What one song always pulls at your heart? This is another tough one! I have SO many songs that pull at my heart! I think, most recently, the song by Matt Kennon titled "I'm glad you called". I think it sends out a very strong message.

Ahhhh! I have no blogged is SO long!!!!! I couldn't come up with anything interesting to blog about and then I got busy. : \ But now I'm back and cant wait to get caught up reading everyone else's latest happenings! :) I want to really start focusing my attention on the blogging world and really get out there! I want to start offering give-aways and start doing my part on sharing tips and tricks I have learned throughout my life just like the rest of the blogging community does! 1. Who is the better cook, you or your spouse? Ya know...for a long time I said my husband was always the better cook but ever since I found about about this here "Pioneer Woman" I've really been gettin good at cooking! And I'm actually really, really liking it! :)

2. How often do you talk to your mom? If not daily...then every other day! I am very fortunate to have my family live close by. There usually isn't a week that goes by where I don't get to see her.

3. Are you adventurous in the kitchen or stick to the recipe? I am actually learning to be very adventurous! Usually, the first time I make something I will actually stick to the book...but after that I tend to add my own little twist. :)

4. Is your second toe longer than your big toe? Nope! My toes go from tall to short all the way down. :)

5. Do you dress up for Halloween? (Bonus question: What will you be this year?) I love halloween so yes, I try to dress up every year! This year the hubs and I are going as "Killer" Mechanics. :) I will post pics!

I'm really disappointed in myself for not completing the SITS blog challenge. I only made it to day 2 before life got in the way of things. Oh well, maybe next challenge. :)

1. What is the first nightmare you remember? Oooh I dont remember my first but I definitely remember my worst. Its hard to write about dreams because they are so strange and crazy and there are so many missing pieces because they jump around so much. So, without going into detail...the thing I remember most is my family was getting ready for a trip to hawaii when my grandma told me the reason why she wasnt going is because she was just diagnosed with cancer and that i couldn't tell anyone. Needless to say, I woke up balling my eyes out! And even after I woke up and realized it was just a dream I just couldnt stop crying. Those are the worst.

2. Even if you're not a sports fan, what's your favorite sport to play/watch? Ooh its a toss up between Football and Baseball. I am definitely not a sports fanatic but I do enjoy watching occasionally. I dont think I could ever qualify to be a die hard sports fan either because I can't just pick ONE team to love! :)

3. If you could pull off one piece of trendy fashion, what would you want it to be (jeggings, hats, thigh high boots, etc.)? Ugggghhhh...I am probably the least fashionable person to ever walk the earth! I have NO taste whatsoever! I would love to be able to pull off anything Lauren Conrad wears. She's always got good taste!

4. Did you make good grades in school? Sure! I mean, I definitely didn't go out of my way to be sure I aced every single test...but I never failed a class.

5. What magazines do you subscribe to? I think I have a free subscription to better homes right now..but other than that, I dont pay for subscriptions because I dont read magazines that often. I'll occasionally grab an US Weekly or a STAR mag from the grocery store on our way out of town, but I can't see paying a monthly subscription to any one of them.

I've always wanted to create my own blog, but could never figure out what the heck I would blog about! My life isn't THAT exciting, I'm probably the LEAST creative person you will ever meet and as much as I would love to be a photographer and post my work...I am far from it as one could possibly get! Then, the other day, I started making a list of all the things I wanted to do and all of the places I wanted to see someday...thus, the creation of "One Day I will...". :-)

One day, I will do it all.

I remember going back and forth about whether or not I should start a blog. I had NO idea what I would write about. I am so glad I finally decided on a blog topic and went with it! I love being able to add to my list of things "to do" one day and I love that I've also found other topics to blog about! Blogging has definitely become a whole lot easier for me. :)

Pantry Update!

Ahh! So excited! Just ordered my pantry jar labels from Wonderfully Wordy! And today after work I'm hittin up ALL the Goodwill/Hope Chest stores in town in search of some wire baskets and crates for pantry storage. The paint turned out amazing, by the way. It wasn't the blue I had hoped for...but it turned out just fine! I can't wait to get everything put away and organized! I will post pics as soon as its finished. :)

This weekend, in honor of my 24th birthday (ahhh!!! 24???), the hubby is taking me to SF! We'll spend the morning walking Pier 39, have some yummy clam chowder for lunch and then it's off to Alcatraz Island for the tour! If you haven't done the tour before...I definitely recommend it the next time you are there! Then...it's dinner at JOE'S CRAB SHACK! My favorite place ever. It's gonna be a great day. :)

1. Do you feel guilty spending money on yourself? No way! I hardly ever go shopping strictly for myself...so when I do get the urge to do so, I believe it's well deserved! :)

2. How well do you know your neighbors? Well, we've lived at our house for almost a year now and we've only gotten to know one of our neighbors. Otherwise, our court is pretty quiet. :)

3. What age are you looking forward to being? 25! That's when we talk babies. :)

4. Do you get excited when the mail comes? Why? Not really...usually it's nothing but bills. Occasionally a netflix dvd and that's pretty exciting!

5. What is your earliest childhood memory? Oohhhh earliest??? That's a good one. The first one that came to mind was my first day of Kindergarten with my first best friend (and neighbor) Carissa. Our moms dressed us up and took pictures in front of the house. We were so excited! I totally remember feeling so independent! Well, as independent as a 5 year old could be! I'll have to find and post the pictures from that day... :)

pS: I totally still have some awards I need to respond to! I promise I didnt forget...I just haven't had the time to sit down and focus on my answers. :) They're coming though...

I'd say today was a pretty productive day. Got the first coat done on the pantry...I picked a light blue for the walls and swiss coffee (that we already had) for the trim/shelves. I picked the blue to go along with my "Chocolate Blues" theme that I have going in my kitchen...but unfortunately, the blue dried a lot brighter than I had expected. It looks more like a nursery...lmao! Oh well...at least we will have left over paint for the actual nursery when that day comes. ;) The blue doesn't look bad...but its just not what I had pictured in my mind. I think once I get everything back in there...it'll look a lot less bright (or so I'm hoping)! I also tried my hand at a new recipe for dinner. The other day while I was searching for new dinners on Tasty Kitchen, I came across a recipe for this "Butter Chicken". The picture looked AUHmaaazing...so I just had to try it. It was a definite hit! Absolutely delish! Now time for tv with the hubby for a bit and then beeeeeed time. I forgot how exhausting painting is....

I've been sittin on this post for a few days now...debating on whether or not I'm ready to start this challenge. Not sure if I'm ready to face/admit to some of these questions...or at least "say" them out loud. Maybe tomorrow.

It's FINALLY Friday!

Uhhh, what a week! I'm so glad the weekend is finally here. Not that we have very exciting plans...unfortunately. Starting Monday, our living situation will go back to the way it was before we bought the house. We'll be living with mom and dad. Why you ask? Because our house is infested. Infested with termites. Although, I don't think infested is the right word. Infested is such a gross word...it makes me think that these little suckers have completely taken over our house -- which they haven't. We only have them in one part of our house, but the pest control suggests we fumigate anyways. So...that we will! They say the fumigation spray leaves no residue...but...I'll be darned if I leave all my clothes and personal belongings behind. Just in case. Luckily, we were able to plan for this so we didn't go grocery shopping this week. You have to clear out ALL perishable foods including everything in your refrigerator/freezer! So, packing is what we will be doing this weekend. Maybe this will motivate me to actually organize my office... :)

1. How many pets do you have? At the moment, we have just our Leila girl. We've got a little mastiff in the oven though... :)

2. If you could switch places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be? Easy. The Pioneer Woman. My Idol. Who else?

3. What is your favorite money saving tip? Money saving?? What is that?? ;) I am the wrong person to ask...my husband is responsible for all the money we've been able to save. He is a tightwad! But, he is the reason we are where we are today. :)

4. What do you want your kids to be when they grow up? I dont have any kids quite yet...but...I would just want them to be happy and successful in whatever they choose to do.

5. What is your favorite quote? I have a million favorites. But, one that I think about often isn't really a quote but lyrics to a song. "And now, I'm glad I didn't know the way it all would end, the way it all would go. Our lives are better left to chance. I could've missed the pain, but I'd of had to miss the dance." Live life to the fullest -- with no regrets.

1. Do you prefer to write in cursive or print? Uggh. My cursive is HOR-RI-BLE! Especially since I got a new last name. I need some serious practice. I would much rather "print" than "sign". :)

2. Do you prefer to shop online or go out and actually

go to the stores? I love online shopping!!! I absolutely HATE trying on clothes. I would much rather buy clothes online (when I can take advantage of free shipping)and send them back if they don't fit.

3. Would you prefer to go camping or stay in a motel? Depends. As much as i LOVE camping...there are some situations when I would definitely prefer the luxuries of a hotel.

4. Do your prefer going to the movies or staying home to watch one? 9 times out of 10 I absolutely HATE going to the movies. Especially in our town. People are SO rude and annoying with the talking/texting on the cell phones, kids kicking the back of my seat...little teeny-boppers laughing and giggling in the front row...ANNOYING! Not to mention the fact that the prices to go see a movie now-a-days are OUTRAGEOUS! I would much rather sit at home on my nice comfy couch with a drink in hand and actually get to enjoy the movie. :)

5. Do you prefer a shower or a bath? I haven't had a bubble bath in SO long! Long overdue. Not that I would prefer one over the other...but it's more convenient just to shower.

A friend of mine just forwarded me an email about a movie coming out this weekend called "Like Dandelion Dust". I had never even heard of it till now!

Can we say HEARTWRENCHER?! Now I want to read the book...

Speaking of reading books...I'm SO behind on my 10 in 2010 book list. :( Unfortunately, the book I'm reading now, Going Too Far, hasn't captured me yet and I'm struggling with it. But, we've got a long drive this weekend down to L.A. so maybe I can catch up on it then. I think next on my list will be Eat, Pray, Love. Has anyone seen the movie yet? What do you think, should I read first and then watch movie? Or vice versa? This is crucial to me. LOL! It's hard to read a really good book and then go see a movie that doesn't live up to its standards. I mean, I know a movie will probably NEVER be as good as a book...but sometimes if I see the movie first I end up loving it just as much as the book. So, book first or movie first?

1. Have you ever visited another country? I have! In high school, I had to opportunity to visit England, France and Italy! Venice was my favorite!

2. Where is the strangest place you have ever been? Hmmm...strangest place? Idk...I guess it would have to be the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz, CA. It is pretty strange...

3. What is your favorite season? This is a tough one! I'd have to choose between summer and winter. I love the snow, but I love the lake just as much. :)

Sometimes, my husband does the funniest things.

The last 2 days, unbeknownst to me, my husband has been placing bids for a motorcycle part he needs on eBay. Apparently, this part is "probably the last one in the entire word", a "rare" finding, a "never will I come across an item like this ever again" type of part. If you knew my husband at all, you would understand why this came as such a surprise to me! He is probably one of the least computer savvy people you could ever meet. All he knows how to do is search the local craigslist and maybe google a phone number or address to a parts store. I have to check his email. I have to log onto his facebook...etc. So, I was quite impressed to see that he figured out how to search for an item on eBay, let alone PLACE A BID all on his own!

The boy has been obsessed with trying to get this part apparently. He is up at all hours of the night, checking the status of the bid, asking me to email the seller to see if they will just let him "buy it now"; he just can't let this item go! So finally, this morning, I decide I should probably ask some questions.

Our covo went something like this:

"Babe, what was the starting bid?"

"$1.99"

"And what was your first bid?"

"$30"

Hmm, okay so there were obviously other people making bids on this item...he really IS worried about being out-bid...

"Ok, what was your last bid?"

"$40"

Alright, well, at least the person he is bidding against isn't trying to out-bid him by very much...they're just going back and forth...

"So you're bidding back and forth against someone else who wants this part?"

"No, I just keep making bids. I really want this part."

(My brain is silent for a second.) Wait, what? Did he really just say what I think he just said?

"Babe? Have you been placing bids against yourself?"

"Uh, I guess?"

"Babe? Are you the only one who has placed a bid?"

"Yes."

So, the item started out at $1.99 and your first bid was $30!?!?

So, you're telling me that even NOBODY else has tried to out-bid you, you went and upped your bid?!?

So, what you're saying is, even though there are only 4 days left on this auction AND nobody else has attempted to make a bid...you are still continuing to bid AGAINST yourself??!!

"Babe?"

"Yes?"

"Please, just stay off of eBay until I get home..."

At least he's cute.... ;-)

You know, I don't really recall ever having a favorite toy or blanket...I had a pink blanket that I loved because of the silk around the edge...but it wasn't a blanket that I took with me everywhere. And I do still have it actually...

2. Do you dream in color? Oh yes...I can usually remember every vivid detail of all my dreams. And I hate it when I cant.

3. How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller? I am 5'3". For the most part, I am pretty satisfied with my height. Not too short, not too tall. :)

4. If you could have anyone's (celeb or other) voice as the guide on your GPS, who would it be? Haha! This is a good one! I would have to choose Isaiah Mustafa! You know, this guy.

5. Do you return your shopping cart to the corral or leave it wherever in the parking lot? I wish I could say I always return it to the corral...but I don't. I have a legitimate excuse though! I always return it to the corral unless it's dark outside and the corral is more than a few parking slots away from my car and/or if there are too many creepers out! It bugs the hell outta me though when people are too lazy to return them...makes me wanna just push a cart into the side of their car! Is that mean? :)

As a new blogger...I'm always looking for blog challenges to help me find daily topics to write about instead of my blog just being full of blog hops and giveaways. When I started this blog, it was meant to be a sort of "Bucket" list for myself...hence the title "One Day I Will..." and I've sorta gone off task. While browsing through my blog list this morning...a post from The Caterpillar Family blog caught my eye. The title read, "#45 Try a new restaurant"...so I clicked. Jessica is part of project called "Day Zero Project" where you create a list of 101 things you want to accomplish in the next 1001 days. Instead of just creating a "bucket" list of the things you want to do before you die...you're now creating a list with an actual deadline that is a bit more realistic! I love it...and I'm hoping by creating this list...I can get back on track with why I started this blog in the first place. As I cross of each item on my list, I will have something to blog about! So, what's number 1 on my list? Coming up with 101 things I want to do in the next 1001 days. :-) Here goes!!!!

The very first time I experienced this scent it was like a vacation for my mind...I'm pretty sure I stood in the bbw store with my eyes closed...listening to the make-believe ocean for a good 10 minutes or so. This smell just SCREAMS summertime!!! It's one of their seasonal items and when I went in a few weeks ago to replenish my stock...the store was completely sold out! Luckily, I have a pretty amazing mother-in-law who jumped onto their website and ordered 3 more sets of the body wash, lotion & spray. It's fan-freaking-tastic!

#2 Would have to be Very Sexy for Men by Victoria's Secret

Always has been my fav for men...and probably always will be.

I can count/say a few words in Hawaiian! :) But...that's it.

Oohh that's a tough one...I could vacation anywhere but here! I love the mountains, the lake, the ocean...anywhere...

1. What were your school colors? Oh geez...I honestly cannot remember! My school didn't have much school spirit...we were a very small, private christian academy...and it was oh so long ago...lol! I think it was blue, black and white.

2. What's the best compliment you ever received? Ugggh....I wish I could say something cute like "my eyes" or "my butt" (lol) but...my eyes are boring brown and we won't talk about my butt. I'd have to say, I get a lot of compliments on my customer service skills. ...my laundry room will look like THIS!

Okay well maybe not exactly like that (my laundry room isnt NEARLY as big)...but close! I love, love the paint and I love, love the cabinets!!!! I think its adorable!!!

We plan to get a brand new front loading washer/dryer set with the money we got from the wedding and instead of spending the extra $$$ on the pedestals...I came across THIS idea! Sausha from {show & tell} built these risers herself!!! Unfortunately, I'm not that crafty...but luckily...the mister is! And he's definitely on board if it means saving money!!

Just finished up Dead Until Dark and I loved, loved it! Can't wait to get started on the next one...but...I'll be taking a short break. Why you ask?? Because I've stumbled upon Pioneer Woman's "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels" love story on how she came to know her dreeamy husband "Marlboro Man". :) As she says, "Grab a cup of coffee. Curl up with a blanket. Have a kleenex and a fan handy." cuz you're gonna need it!

1) Do you collect anything? Hmm...not intentionally...but I was noticing the other day that I do have quite the collection of pjs!! LOL!

2) Name 3 celebrities that you find good looking. Just 3?? I'll make it easy then...Jackson Rathbone, Kellan Lutz && of course RPat ;-)

3) Do you have any scars? If so, what is the story behind it (them). Seems like I have a ton! And most of them I have no idea how they got there...but the 3 most obvious scars are the ones on my left knee from my knee surgery.

4) What is a food that you like to eat, but others might think its gross or weird? It's not really a food but...people get grossed out that I put ranch on my burritos! I put ranch on EVERYTHING. :-)

5) Have you ever seen a tornado in real life? no!! but I do like watching tornado chasers!

Every time I hear this song I picture my future in Montana. A big white farmhouse on a few thousand acres...a wrap around porch with two rocking chairs facing towards the west so we can watch the sunset every night. With our great danes and our mastiffs (yes, plural) and a big red barn. A place where we'll have to "drive to town" to get to the grocery store and our closest neighbor is miles away. Ah, one day....

Leila's First Walk

We took Leila on her first walk to the park today. She absolutely loved it! Poor Brodie was worn out just from the walk alone and had no desire to play once we got there. All Leila wanted to do was RUN...but she hates playing by herself. :-) She was such a happy girl...we will definitely have to take her more often!

The House on the Rock

I came across this quirky tourist attraction today while messing around in Google Earth. It's called the "House on the Rock" and it's name says it all. Located in the middle of Iowa County in Spring Green, WI, the house was built on top of Dear Shelter Rock which is a column of rock that stands approximately 60 feet tall, 70 feet by 200 feet at the top. I have no idea why or when I will ever be visiting Wisconsin...but one day I will visit this "House on the Rock".
